1. Toobs warranties all bodyboards against defective materials for a period of one year from the date of purchase.
2. Toobs warranties all bodyboards against delamination due to workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase. This warranty policy does not apply to bodyboards that:
- have been damaged or subjected to misuse on the part of the user.
- have been altered or modified in any way by the user.
- have not been handled in accordance with the board care instruction guidelines.
3. CREASES ARE NOT COVERED BY THE WARRANTY. A bodyboard has a certain amount of life and normal usage that can break it down, similar to a surfboard or a skateboard breaking. We could build a board that doesn't crease, but it would be too stiff and unable to flex the way a quality, high-performance bodyboard should. Toobs does use a high-grade Surlyn bottom skin that allows the board to function successfully long after most creases.
4. In the event of a possible warranty issue, the board must be returned to the store where it was purchased, accompanied by the original receipt. Toobs Inc. reserves the right to make a final determination of warranty status in cases of questionable situations not falling into any of the above categories. In such case, the owner/purchaser of the Toobs bodyboard will be responsible for returning the bodyboard to Toobs Inc. for examination and determination of warranty.
